Our Vision
The Vancouver International Film Centre and Vancity Theatre is an exciting new centre of excellence for Vancouver's film lovers, both for filmmakers and for cinephiles. It marries the art of film with emerging new technologies and allows the Greater Vancouver International Film Festival Society to broaden its public, cultural and educational mandate.
VIFF Mandate
To encourage understanding of other nations through the art of cinema, to foster the art of cinema, to facilitate the meeting in British Columbia of cinema professionals from around the world, and to stimulate the motion picture industry in British Columbia and Canada.
