Year round the Vancity Theatre presents Vancouver audiences with some of the best cinema from around the world. The programming team behind the renowned Vancouver International Film Festival present unique, relevant and entertaining films that might otherwise not be screened in Vancouver.
In addition to the Centre's year-round programming and use as a venue at the Vancouver International Film Festival, The Film Centre is also available for rent to individuals and organizations.

To encourage understanding of other nations through the art of cinema, to foster the art of cinema, to facilitate the meeting in British Columbia of cinema professionals from around the world, and to stimulate the motion picture industry in British Columbia and Canada.
